TGIF!

Now you can get away from this guy. I remember a couple jobs I had where I worked with this guy. Anyone that works in an office environment can identify with the Office and Office Space and don't see these as shows but as works of non-fiction. I also see them as being factual and true. Last night on the Office the show starts out with them watching the little DVD cube on the TV hoping it will hit right in the corner. I have actually done this more than once. Here is to everyone stuck in an office, I salute your thankless efforts, you tireless dedication to getting out of work early, and all the sh** you eat in a week with a smile. Go get drunk. Have fun. TGIF!

The Flood Gates Have Opened

NFL fans today are getting their fill of "this just in" stories. Last might at midnight marks the beginning of free agency in the NFL. This is a crucial and exciting time for NFL fans who take more than a passing interest in the sport. I am one of those fantasy football playing NFL fans. It really takes my fandom of the sport to another level. You see to be good at fantasy football you really have to know the game and its players. This also creates a rabid, frothing at the mouth army of idiots such as myself that are desperate for any news about where players are going. This also means that my phone will be putting in overtime as I am feverishly sending text messages to to my friends.

My girlfriend understands that she will never understand this total involvement approach that I take with football and is quite happy that football is the only sport I follow. The poor woman was so upset when she realized that the regular season is only but part of my obsession. For me and some of the guys I hang out with, the off season is every bit as important. Watching teams fill needs through trades and free agent signings. Watching teams make bad trades or sign players to big contracts that make no sense. We praise the smart moves and tear the and ones apart while we go one and on about what we think should happen. After all we the self appointed experts.

I have already had about six text messages sent back and forth and one phone call and it's only 11 am and I did not get up until 10. It's that kind of party. While I know not many share my level of devotion to the NFL, I have always found it interesting that I can go on and on about high level intellectual arguments and then turn around and become so worked up over a game. To me ot makes sense. I don't just watch football, I study it.

Stumble the Funny Truth

I am big fan of stumble. Anyone with ADD loves stumble. Feed that instant gratification for knowledge then look at something else. Instead of searching for sites on physics, I stumble my way through. Check out this homage to stumble that cracked me up.

The Greatest American Hero

How many remember the TV show "The Greatest American Hero"

Not only do I remember the show from my childhood, but I just found something I must have, I found The Greatest American Hero - The Complete Series (free Cape and Notebook included!). I am so much the geek that I want this in a bad way.

For those that are not familiar with the show it was one of a kind. Ralph Hinkley was given a super suit from aliens. The suit came with instructions but Ralph lost the manual. Did I mention Ralph is a High School teacher. Ralph has the basics down like super strength the ability to fly, he can become invisible and the suit also gives him certain psychic abilities. The only 2 people that know about Ralphs secret suit is an FBI agent and his girlfriend. To watch this show was to love it. What makes me such a geek is the fact that I would where the cape, frequently.

Make Money Blogging

I find it interesting that when I hit the wonderful little stumble button to find new blogs about half the blogs I find are about making money from your blog. Just for fun I put "Make Money Blogging" in Google and hit search. You can find those results here. This of course makes me curious as to why you blog.

Things I Know Nothing About

I know nothing about a lot of things. We all know a whole lot of nothing. When you add up what we don't know and compare it to what we do know the difference is staggering to say the least. What is this madman talking about now?

Quite simply it is that in life we do a lot of guess work and call it certainty. We are a supremely arrogant world. We are also supremely ignorant. Now to be ignorant just because you don't know is quite alright. Most of us fall into this category when it comes to a great many things. Now willful ignorance or refusing to learn about something that you know you know nothing about is just silly.

I write 3 different blogs. This one of course and one of the sites on my list of links has been gracious enough to allow me to contribute to their site and a lot of what I post there I post here as well. Laslty I write for a site that is sponsored by a local newspaper. What I think I know changes based on the forum in I choose to express myself in. I am an arrogant person. I admit it. I like to think that I have a great thought process and that I understand things better than most. Not that I know more but that I understand more. There is a difference. There is a good chance that I am wrong.

God is a topic that causes whack jobs from both sides of the argument to blow a fuse and go off on smear campaigns of one another because of what they think they know. However I have very recently come to the understanding that it is better try to understand others points of view and present ideas. I think an open discussion and sharing of ideas is preferred to to digging in your heals and attacking. When we limit what we will allow ourselves to be exposed to or limit what will allow ourselves to ponder we truly are only limiting our own potential for growth and understanding.

I am a Christian. I believe in God. I believe Jesus is the son of God and I have accepted him in my heart as my savior. Making those statements alone will make me a target for ridicule. People will make fun of it and call it laughable.

There is one thing in my faith that allows me to be open to other points of view and other explanations that do not include divine intervention. I don't know the exact words or the exact verse but in the bible it says what God has done will be explained. That he will make it known. It never says that he will come down and give us step by step answers. This is what allows me to look at what we discover in science and give it credibility. It also says that his ways are not ours to understand. That can be taken a variety of ways. I tend to take that as we just do not have the mental capacity to understand the nature of the universe which leads to the multitude of theories that are thrown around. I do not claim to have any of the answers nor do I claim to have some great understanding of the universe. I have ideas and I am willing to listen to the ideas of others.

I could go on typing this for the next 2 hours giving my thoughts and ideas. I could spend hours discussing these ideas and examining them. But in the end they are ideas, not fact, not absolute and inherently flawed. In closing I want to simply say please have ideas and forget about knowing anything and just examine everything. I guess I really do believe that wisdom comes from knowing that you know nothing.

My Favorite Satirical/Parody Movies

I am going to start by declaring Mel Brooks as king of this genre and every one of his movies are automatically on the list, so no complaining. Now then when looking at this genre I chose these movies for pure entertainment value. Did it make me laugh or scream when I could not find the remote to shut it off. Would I actually buy this movie or am I really glad a buddy let me borrow it. These are the ways I classify movies.

Airplane - This is really the grandaddy of them all. There are so many one liners that people quote to this day that makes it impossible to deny this movies place in history. this movie is a must have for any video collection. "Surely you can't be serious." "Don't call me Shirley."

Hot Shots - The original was funny. I mean really how do top the insane silliness of this film. Charlie Sheen and Cary Elwes were perfect. Again so many liners you have to watch 3 times to get them all. Buy it.

Naked Gun: Files From Police Squad - Again first film was brilliant and Lesley Nielsen is the greatest straight man of all time. He can deliver deadpan comedy better than anyone I have ever seen. remember boys and girls OJ was not a killer yet and you felt bad seeing him get injured. Now you watch it and cheer the pain. "Nice beaver" "Thanks I just had it stuffed." If you haven't seen it she pulls out an actual beaver. Buy it.

Hardware Wars - A stack of cookies to you if you have actually seen this movie. Greatest Star Wars parody ever. Now on sale on Amazon.com

Scary Movie - Because I know some one will ask for it. I will give you the first one in this series, but after this they went down hill fast. Frankly I am still waiting for the Wayans brothers to make the Homey the Clown movie. If you don't know who Homey is search Homey the Clown on YouTube and enjoy.

This is Spinal Tap - O.K. so I know this falls under mockumentary, but that category did not even exist until Tap. Every one that has ever been in somewhat successful sees this movie as a road map of what will and has happened while on tour. when this movie came out people went to the record stores looking for Spinal Tap albums. The whole movie like all of their movies is heavily improvised with nothing more then a skeleton of an outline for a script. Comedic genius. Buy it now.

Tromeo and Juliet - Quite possibly the most wrong movie ever made. If you have a weak stomach you may want to pass on this one. Anyone familiar with Tromaville knows Lloyd Kaufman is one the most twisted guys o the planet, I love him. I really think that good old Willy would appreciate this satirical version of his satirical look at life. Buy it.

Evil Dead 2 - This makes the list because it really is just a parody of the Evil Dead and frankly every movie list should have something starring Bruce Campbell. What do mean you don't own this?

In closing I am also going to give a nod to The Simpsons, South Park and Family Guy. These 3 shows constantly remind us how silly our society has become. The parody/satire really has just become a part of our culture and will continue to be as long as we keep watching them.

Crazy Is A Good Thing Sometimes

This one time there was this thing that we did that was cool and this other time we did this thing that was not so cool. That was not cool.

Then I woke up had some coffee and realized that I have lost too many brain cells not to be ranked just above the talking chimp. Of course I think the chimp is closing in. Next thing you know primates and apes and monkeys will be talking and wearing clothes and running the world, oh wait they already did that idea to death.

So what's with the nonsensical rambling you ask?

The answer is simple. Because I can. It is fun to live in the absurd and wander through the fields of insanity frolicking like a naked innocent boy. Of course I have never been accused of being innocent, of anything.

My son is going through potty training and is doing pretty good. He's good kid, but he is definitely getting too big too fast. I was just looking at pictures on here from when we moved back to Ca from Or. He has grown so much and his features have changed. He is getting more entertaining too. Has me and the girlfriend cracking up like you not believe.

Well I have gone and done it. I have fallen in love again. I couldn't help it she is so damn cute. The way she cuddles up with me just melted me. She wormed her way into my heart and now I have to live with the horror of being a straight man who loves his little dog. Uma is queens land heeler chihuahua mix. Of course now her and and The Dude are fighting for space with me in my chair. She loves the two weeks he's with mom.

In other news there was news. Here, there is only the shit I make up. This hour I have decided to make this.

Oh blizzard
Gods to the gamers
Please oh please
Give us the key
To open the eyes and see
That once Stracraft 2 is out the door
We will see
The much desired Diablo 3

Ok enough. That was pretty bad even by my standards which are pretty low.

Ted Nugent is so cool. Listening to Stranglehold right now. When I saw him open for KISS a few years back instead of doing the solo for Cat Scratch Fever he broke into the solo from Redhouse. If you don't know what Redhouse is it would take to long to explain. Let's just say he went from playing blues based rock guitar to playing full on rip you heart out blues guitar.

So I watched the World of Warcraft South Park. The scary thing is that it almost seems like something that could actually happen if has not already happened.

Ask me no questions and I shall tell you no lies except those that come from my eyes.

Its a quotable day. I have been having a lot of really good days. Perfect moments if you will. I attribute them to 2 things. Karma finally catching up with me for all the stuff I have put up with from women over the years and secondly my girlfriend just kicks maximum ass.

Losing Your Cool

I am over 30. I am a dad. I lost my cool. I am ok with that. Now for a few real sentences to explain.

When we are kids we spend our childhood looking for an identity. We look for that identity in our parents, our siblings and the other kids at school. No matter where you go in this country and probably the world at some point there is a separation of the social classes. Some become cool kids, some nerds, some geeks, some stoners and the list goes on. What we fail to realize is that we are all outcasts of some sort or another. Each one of us looking for acceptance and most finding in one group of people or another.

Think back to your school years. Think about the social hierarchy. Think about where you fit in or did not fit in. Look at who your friends were then and who your friends are now. You might see a different group of people. Back in the day, which was a Wednesday, you were judged based on what you liked. It was all about what kind of music you listened to, what clothes you wore, what sports you played and who you were friends with. It was all about what was cool. If you were not cool you were a target. You were always worried about some one finding out about some dark secret you had about something you were really into but it was not cool. Think D&D. If some one had found out you would have ostracized by your so call friends and just another target. When I look back the geeks, dorks, and nerds they were the ones that had the right idea. Instead of being worried about being cool they liked what they liked and while they were prime targets for cruelty of many forms, they stuck to who they were. Now that's cool.

Then we left school and moved on. Some of us went to college, some of us went into the military, some of went nowhere. No matter where you were there was still this expectation to be cool. There was still this desire to fit in. We still pretended that we liked certain things to impress our friends. Look around where you work. Think about the groups of people you see. Think about what you might be hiding.

Well at some point in life if truly want to be happy you have to look what you truly do like and embrace it. Forget about what clothes you should wear. Forget about what music and movies you should like. Forget about what books you should be reading. Forget about what should be and embrace what is. Embrace who you are.

Now that some of you are wondering who I think I am and how dare I question your life, relax. I know this does not apply to everyone and if you are getting upset it just may apply to you. The hardest person to be honest with is your self.

Let me use myself as an example. I will be brief. During the school years I was still playing with G.I. Joes and Transformers when I was in junior high. Definitely not cool. So I hid stuff. In high school I had a mullet. Hey, it was the late 80's and still allowed. Let me put it this way, my senior year was the year Nirvana hit the scene. In those days I was a stoner, not so much because I wanted to get high, but because I had a mullet and I liked loud rock and roll. I liked wearing a leather jacket and ripped up concert t-shirts. I liked the holes in my jeans and wearing bandannas.

I went into the Air Force and the mullet went away as they shave my head. It still was not cool to like Slayer or Gwar. Ok so it's never really been ok to like Gwar. So to fit in I got good at playing pool. That was the social group was that was cool. I drank like a fish. That was part of being cool. For the next 4 years I tried to find ways to fit in with the ever changing group of people that I would come in contact with. I got married because everyone else was. Can you say insanely stupid? I knew you could. I forced myself to enjoy hip hop. If you are a metal head you understand the monumental nature of that statement. I danced. I wore baggy clothes and rode around with a guy that lowered his truck. I hate lowered trucks.

Over the next 9 years I was into what ever was cool. Not really into it but I tried. Did good to. Had the right girlfriends (after my divorce), wore the right clothes and wathced the right TV shows and listened to the right music. Then this wonderful thing happened 3 years ago, I turned 30 and had the Dude ( the little guy in the picture). Since then I have allowed myself to delve into all the things I always wanted to. Now I love being a geek. All the bad movies I pretended not to like I proclaim loudly as my favorites. I even earned the nick name "The Movie Whore" because I will watch anything. I actually own Xanadu. I willfully watched Transmorphers. I wear whats comfortable. I listen to Cracker, not Uncle Cracker. I love Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Star Trek, Dune, Bill and Ted's, both movies. I like minivans.

The point of all this in not to tell you about me, but to show you it's ok to be the biggest geek in the world. It's ok not to be. The point is to find what makes you haoppy and damn the consequences. Like whatever you want and be whoever you want ot be, just be honest to you and who you are. The right job, the right clothes, the right girl, the right anyhting should be what's right for you not what some one else thinks is right for you.

Internet users could be banned over illegal downloads

I stumbled across this article today. I encourage you to read it. Here are my thoughts on the downloading of music, movies and software.

Copyright law gives exclusive rights to copy material whether it be a book, a song, a movie or any other medium that one might want a copy of. Right now I want to clearly state that I am in no way endorsing anyone engaging in illegal practices of any kind. I have found plenty of legal alternatives to getting music and movies for next to nothing and will update this article periodically as I come across new avenues for you to find legal ways to add content to your personal media library.

With that out of the way let us discuss the philosophy of copying and sharing culture. I have addressed this issue before here and here. Please feel free to read these posts over. What I want to examine is the question of whether or not it is in the best interest of society as a whole to actually have copyright laws. Again the laws already exist and I suggest following them. The real question is what led to the creation of the copyright concept or the idea that only specific entities should have the right to copy cultural information. If you agree with me, great, if not tell me why. You never know you may change my mind. I will not be going into great detail only providing a very brief overview and adding my rhetoric.

The right to copy was never something to be questioned until the invention of the printing press. Prior to that copies were hand made. But with this new invention came the ability to to copy in mass. With this came the ability to make copies of anything. The first real copyright was handed down by a king in england and was primarily used to as a form of censorship. There was only one group known as the Stationers' Company allowed to make copies of books. Did I say censorship, of course I did. Back in that time (mid 1600's) there was the Protestant Reformation, which of course was opposed by the king. If they could not legally copy their rhetoric they could not distribute it to the masses. This early version of copyright provided a monopoly over the ability to copy. The Stationers' Company had guild members that were required to submit any text they were going to copy. Later copyright laws were reformed giving public use copyright laws. As time has moved on copyright has become less about censorship and protecting an author of media and has become about making money.

Did you realize if discover how to beat encryption that is meant to keep you from copying something you can be charged under the DCMA and thrown in jail. There is actually an interesting article about how cryptography research is impacted by this. It's only a small portion of the page located about half way down.

We have established that copyright laws exist and that we should not recommend that anyone break those laws but what do we really think of the idea of copyright. In my humble opinion copyright does little to protect authors and does everything to create money for publishers of media in any form covered under copyright law. Copyright is the right to copy not the right to make millions. The reason that the MPAA, the RIAA and other such groups world wide push so hard to make copyright infringement a criminal offense is due to the fact that it cuts into their profits. No one has the right to make a profit, you have the right to try but not a right to the money itself.

I see copyright as an infringement upon capitalism. I may of lost a few of you but true capitalism is nothing more than business anarchy or make a buck any way you can with no laws to stop you. Therefore copyright is profitright or the right to gain profit and that the distribution of culture for free is a crime. A profit must be made and the holders of the right to copy culture are the only ones that may distribute culture. I understand copyrighting books. Reading a book is really the only way to get the information unless you take the time to put it into Word or a pdf file and distributing it electronically. If I write down something from a book and put it in my blog without the permission of the owner of the copyright I can be charged with a crime and prosecuted in civil and/or criminal court. I did not make any money off publishing the information but the author and the publisher also did not make any money and only those that pay for information have the right to the information under current copyright laws. That's right I am saying that under current copyright laws the only people that have a right to information is the ones that pay for it. So essentially information and culture has become a privilege that we pay for not something we have a right to. Of course there is this illusion that the internet is free. That you are reading this free of charge, well you are not. You pay your ISP. You pay for the privilege of entering into to cyberspace and discovering the world. So following that logic if you are paying for access to the web and access to download then you just build in a download plan with the ISP and you can download whatever you want. The ISP takes that money and equally distributes it to the holders of the copyrights and they in turn equally distribute it to the authors. That's way too easy.

Point blank copyright is profit right. The copyright war is a fight over the right to make a profit. No one has the right to make a profit only the right to pursue happiness. Here is the 2 movies that got me thinking about this subject.

Steal This Film

Steal This Film 2

Culture should be freely shared among all people and at this rate it will never be shared freely among all people. Culture will continue to have a price tag. If you can not pay the price then you do not deserve the privilege of sharing in culture. This is where we are going unless things change. I obey the law but it does not mean I agree with it. Feel free to disagree with me on any of the above points. I only ask that you do it in the form of a intelligent argument instead of calling me an idiot, I already know I am an idiot.

Lastly here is a great post with tons of links for finding free or cheap legal media.

Great Comeback

I got this in an email from a friend. I have no idea who to credit for its origin but I loved it. Oh, did I mention that I served 4 years in the Air Force.

I LOVE THIS COMEBACK...

One of my sons serves in the military.
He is stationed stateside, here in California . He called me yesterday to let me know how warm and welcoming people were to him and his troops everywhere they go.

Telling me how people shake their hands and thank them for being willing to serve and fight, not only our own freedoms but so that others may have them too.

Then he told me about an incident in the grocery store he stopped at yesterday, on his way home from the base. He said that several people were in the line ahead of him, including a woman dressed in a burkha.

He said when she got to the cashier, she made a loud remark about the U.S. Flag, lapel pin, the cashier wore on her smock. The cashier reached up and touched the pin and said, 'Yes, I always wear it proudly, because I'm an American.'

The woman in the burkha then asked the cashier when she was going to stop bombing her countrymen, explaining that she was Iraqi.

Then, a Gentleman standing behind my son stepped forward, putting his arm around my son's shoulders and nodding towards my son, said in a calm and gentle voice to the Iraqi woman: Lady, hundreds of thousands of men and women like this young man have fought and died so that YOU could stand here, in MY country and accuse a check-out cashier of bombing YOUR countrymen.

It is my belief that had you been this outspoken in YOUR own country, we wouldn't need to be there today.
But, hey, if you have now learned how to speak out so loudly and clearly, I'll gladly buy you a ticket and pay your way back to Iraq , so you can straighten out the Mess in YOUR country, that you are obviously here in MY country to avoid.'

Why looking for a job sucks

Remember the good old days when you would walk in, ask for an application fill it out and return it. Then you would stop by periodically to check in or call to see if they were still hiring. Those days are gone my friend. Today you go online and maybe you submit a resume or maybe you fill out an online application. Then do not even think about stopping by or calling them. Your lucky if you actually applied with the company you want the job from because now most large employers use a recruiting company. Recruiting companies definitely do not want to hear from you.

The part of this new and improved process that sucks the most and is the most inconvenient is the personality test. You know the one where half the questions are repeats and only a moron would actually answer honestly. Seriously do these companies really think that people are going to tell them that they get angry easily. Even if they let you paste/upload your resume they still want you to fill out the employment history part of the online application complete with addresses phone numbers and names of every one you have ever worked for. The one part that makes the least amount of sense is when they ask you for your addresses over the last 5 years. Can some one please explain to me why they need or would be entitled to that information.

The most challenging part is when you live in a smaller area. I live in a small college town north of Sacramento, Ca. Living in a college town means that 80% of the work available is in retail and pays minimum wage with 10-12 hours a week. College kids that have their parents paying for school get these jobs for extra beer money. People that actually put them selves through school here do it while working 3 or more jobs and build up a huge debt in student loans.
I was looking for a job today and it took me 3 hours to apply for 11 jobs. 8 of them I was able to use our www.chicohelpwanted.com to apply since I have already registered and have everything stored there. The other 3 took 2 and 1/2 hours. One of them gave me the option of pasting my resume into a text box but there was no text box on the page. This was irritating. I sent them an email letting them know. I doubt I will get a response other than the automated response they sent me.

So what is the point to this other then complaining? Well there isn't one. Besides what else is a blog good for if not venting ones frustrations. Which has been a common theme for me lately. If you want advice on how to apply for jobs in this online era of application submission then here are a few.

  1. Prepare - Have Word open with a copy of your resume and a second page with whatever addresses phone numbers and names you have. If you don't have that information find the companies website and look for a corporate information link. You can also use the contact us link and send them email asking for it.
  2. Caffeine - This exercise is just mundane enough to put you to sleep. Have a soda or a cup of coffee or something.
  3. Take breaks - Give yourself a chance to shake out the cob webs Get up and walk around or make a phone call. Otherwise you run the risk of becoming apathetic during the process which can lead to clicking the wrong things.
  4. Turn off your phone - At least until you need it.
This will help you go through this process and advice I have yet to find on any website. Really if you are going to blog you should really try to avoid topics everyone has covered and have your blog become a regurgitation of information you can find in so many other places. I hope this helps some one and if not I still feel better. In closing must quote Socrates who said "I drank what?"
A golden cookie to whoever guesses the movie that quote came from and using imdb.com is cheating.

When slang goes bad.

AKA you sound like an idiot when you say....

Let's take a look at slang that I have heard recently that makes me want to crack some one in the head for sounding like a twit. Oh and feel free to leave comments about things you have heard that makes you twitch.

I realize I got old somewhere along the way and maybe I don't get it and I am glad because if I ever get it with some of this please just shoot me.

Any use of the word nigger or any variation there of(including nigga and others I have seen). This word has never and will never be cool to say ever no matter what color you are. It is a word that makes you sound stupid when you use it. It's use automatically even temporarily means your IQ has dropped significantly.

"That's sick!" Meaning cool. I get it and have even found myself using it. I did resist at first but it grew on me like a fungus.

"You just got Pwned!" or powned or what ever. Apparently some jack ass can't type and was on some im program and typed pwned instead of owned and some twit thought it was a good idea. I have been around people using this term and frankly it makes me want to slap them around and call them susan(3 cookies for any one that can name the movie).

"Phat" do I really even need to go into why this is not acceptable and makes you sound like a dolt.

Anyone that thinks these crazy sex tortures are cool in any way shape form or fashion should be castrated. I am speaking of terms such as dirty sanchez, angry pirate, donkey punch and others. If you don't know what they are then use Google. If you are fond of using these terms and think it's funny to talk about doing theses types of things to women then you are a worthless sack of flesh and deserve to have your balls fall of like in the scene in Planet Terror. Oh and you deserve to contract gonorrhea of the eye and have syphilis in your nose while having your cock inserted into live light socket. Women can be a pain in the ass at times but so can men. Good rule for sex. Make her toes curl and take her breath away with one or more earth shattering orgasm most of the time when you have sex and you will be able to get away with a lot but you abuse the provider of sexual gratification and not only do you never ever get away with anything but you will be pumping your fist for a long time because girls talk and news gets around.

My girlfriend uses a term that really just missed my age group by about 3-4 years. "DOOGANS" or is "DUGANS" I am not sure and I could ask her as she is sitting across the room but when she reads this I am going to be in enough trouble anyway an prefer to put it off til then. Now she has explained to me what a doogan is several times and maybe it's just the term itself that just strikes as wanting to say "A what!" It's a generational thing I get that and this is one I just don't get but does not make me want to cause harm to anyone or make fun of them in anyway. I love you baby.

For the love all things musical what t is Emo and why would you choose to describe yourself with this term that screams "I am a WHINY BITCH THAT IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF DRAWING NEGATIVE ATTENTION TO MYSELF BECAUSE IT"S ALL I CAN GET!" Then I saw one these twerps and thought to myself "Oh it's the new goth." Should this be the case was there really any reason to switch from goth. I could see saying "Goth chicks are hot." However I don't think I could ever say "I think Emo chicks are hot" for fear of some one thinking I was talking about a baby bird of some sort.

Other things I just don't get. tattoos and body piercing also known as body art are not a political statement. A political statement would be actually making a statement using words whether written or spoken to express praise or disapproval for a particular and relevant social issue.

BUY PANTS THAT FIT!!!!! I am not only talking about stupid skinny dudes that wear pants 10 sizes too big but also some weight challenged women that wear clothes that show the cottage cheese through the material. Oh and everyone please wear a shirt that covers your stomach. Men and women a like. Don't take this to mean I have something against the non skinny, I am not skinny, I wear pants that fit and I don't wear shirts that shows my gut hanging over my pants to the world. No one wants to see it. Wear it around the house not out of the house.

FIX YOUR HAT! Wear it the regular way with a nice bend in the bill pulled down covering your hair line or wear it backwards but for the crying out loud don't turn it sideways or cocked off to the side or flatbilled. YOU LOOK LIKE A TOOL! The same thing goes for trucker hats. They are trucker hats and only truckers should wear them. Ashtoon Cutcher be damned to hell for all eternity, or however he spells his name.

Lastly, I would like to tell white guys and white girls everywhere, "YOU ARE WHITE DEAL WITH IT GET OVER IT MOVE ON! Watching any one try to imitate the social culture of others looks like a turd. Really does anyone want to see me in a monk outfit(shut up), I would look ridiculous. Think John C Reilly in Anger Management. Certain cultures can carry off certain styles and behaviors and white Americans can not carry any of them off. Nor should we try. There is a difference between appreciating a cultural and just pissing them off. I have had many a conversation with African Americans that look at white kids trying to act like they're from the ghetto who have told me that it really makes them want to slap the little twits. It shows how little they truly know about what it is like to live in the inner city where shit can some times be seriously screwed up and this really can be construed as offensive. Yeah I know it sounds weird when I am saying don't be offensive. Well let me put it this way, there is a right way to be offensive and then there is the let's kill that stupid twit approach.

Lastly the one thing I will never understand is Ebonics. Never have never will. I am sure it has it's proper place, but anywhere outside of that place amongst people that do not speak that way makes you sound like a moron. Whether you are cool or not has nothing to do with what you say but who you say it to, it matters not where you are from, but where you are and just because it looks good on MTV doesn't mean it will look good on you.

Lastly, I know but I mean it this time. Will some one please explain this fascination with the winner of worst celebrity blow job award winner Paris Hilton. She's not pretty. Not real bright. Is a world class slut and some how young girls think this is what they should strive to become. When did the youth of America have a collective lobotomy.

Well that's it for now. Have fun kids and remember to always wear headphone when doing your homework. Another 5 cookies to those that get that one.

Bloggers and their blogs

I have been stumbling across several "How to be a Good Blogger" sites and most of what I have found is instructions on how to get attention and get into the social network. I have my own ideas and as always I invite criticism.

I have been blogging off and on for for about 3 years, officially. Unofficially I have been blogging my whole life, just not online. Typically the blogs I read and comment on are not the everyday run of the mill stuff. If I wanted the news, I would read the news. I want opinions and sharing of ideas. I like reading something written by some one who shows an ability to think for them selves and bases their opinions on their own research. These same bloggers are the same ones that encourage you to research for yourself as well.

Blogging is sharing, growing, educating, entertaining and feeding the ego. As some one who has spent a lifetime sharing his opinions about anything, I can honestly say there is a certain amount ego involved in it all. Their is that small part in the brain that is looking for some one to agree with us and praise us as geniuses. I am not saying that bloggers are ego maniacs. Quite the opposite. Your typical good blogger writes to learn and to share with others what they think they know and possibly learn something new. We all love hearing how awesome we are but some times we need some one to provide us with a valid counterpoint expressed in a manner that encourages us to either try to engage this person in an educational debate or go and do the research ourselves.

Bloggers are the new bards. Bards were originally the ones that spread the news and kept the records. They traveled to spread history, stories, legends, poetry and music. Readers travel to bloggers via the internet. When I get together with friends we talk and share ideas and knowledge. That's something everyone does. So what makes a good blogger.

A good blogger is a good human. They look for things to write about that will increase knowledge and understanding. They also look for ways to entertain and alleviate the days stress by giving some one a laugh or a chance to daydream or engage in wonderful debate over Star Wars vs Star Trek and other geeky arguments.

A good blogger is a geek. Face it geeks spend more time researching their interests then anyone. They get obsessed with topics and try to learn everything there is to know about it. Ok so they are OCD geeks. Accept geeks just plain know more. Most geeks also qualify as nerds. Once I hit 30 and had the Dude, I realized I would never be cool again. It was very liberating and really allowed me to embrace my inner geek. One of the best things I have done. I have learned more in the last 3 years about things I have always been interested in than I did in the first 30 years of my life.

A good blogger is intelligent. It takes and intelligent person to convey thoughts that are easily understood and that are convincing and believable. It takes an intelligent person to ask questions and look for the meaning of things and then explain their findings in a way that the masses can understand.

Deciding to become a blogger is a decision to take on a responsibility to those that read that you will be honest and thorough and encourage new ideas or new ways to look at old ideas. Bloggers should hold themselves accountable for what they decide to share. A bad blogger throws out opinions based on little to nothing and will become argumentative or just delete comments that disagree with what they have to say.

Do I classify myself as a good blogger?

Not yet, but getting there.

I enjoy blogging it gives me an opportunity to express myself. It forces me to use critical thinking and continue to study and learn and it's fun too.

Where's my refund?

This is a question on a lot of peoples minds especially mine. I filed my taxes electronically using TaxACT online which you can find here

It was simple and easy. The site asked me for the information, I put it in and then filed online. I received 4 emails, 2 from the state of California and 2 from the IRS, that confirmed my returns had been received and a date in which I could expect my refunds. I filed Feb 4 and according to correspondence I received I would receive my refund from the IRS on Feb 15 or last Friday. On Friday I check the account and there is no money. I go to the IRS website and clicked on Individuals then clicked where's my refund and entered the appropriate information. The result of my query showed that the IRS sent my refund using direct deposit last on Feb 15 but to allow 48-72 hrs and not to call to inquire until Feb 20 or today. After numerous calls to the bank and one call to the IRS, I still do not have my refund.

When I called the IRS an hour ago, the woman I spoke with was quite polite and helpful. She looked up the information on my refund and we verified routing and account numbers. They have the correct routing and account numbers. She then informed me that she would put a trace on my refund but that could take 6-8 weeks. Called the bank back and was told that this has happened to several people and the the most likely scenario is that the money was deposited into the wrong account. The bank blames the IRS the IRS blames the bank and I still have no money. Can you say homicidal type rage? I knew you could. Or to be more candid I am pissed the fuck off. When one is trying to convey a thought or series of thoughts that they would like others to read it is usually considered a inappropriate to use profanity. I understand and usually make an effort to refrain, but today I am profoundly pissed off.

I am sure there are those of you that can understand how I feel and if in my shoes may not show much restraint at all and begin ranting and raving and screaming your head off. I know this because it exactly what my initial reaction was. I wanted to scream, I wanted to curse the bank and the IRS and go on and on about how unfair this is. Sitting in my house where the only person that would me is my girlfriend who is almost as upset as I am. However I realize these actions would accomplish nothing. So I turn to you to ask you if you know of anyone this has happened to and if so to encourage them to send an email to a local news station or newspaper. If anyone has any ideas that could be of use please leave them in the comments as I will checking through out the day. Thank you for your time and have a better day than mine.

Update 3-9-08 I received a letter from the IRS letting me know he bank denied he transaction. Time for the bank to pucker up.

Congratulations you have been chosen to receive a free ipod nano

Or what ever the recording says. I am sure you have run into this. You are surfing around and you load up a site and all of a sudden you hear this loud annoying voice telling you about his BS offer. The trick then is to try to find the ad on the page to hit the microscopic stop button. This is not the only ad that does this but it seems to be the most prevalent. You can contact the creator of this ad by clicking here

If you are dumb enough to click the ad thinking your are actually going to get the free ipod then boy are you in for treat. There is nothing free about this offer. You must participate in their "surveys" which are nothing more than more ads for stuff you don't need. It never ends. I clicked on one of these type of offers once to see what would happen and then spent the next 30 minutes running in a never ending loop of ads. Nothing is free. There is always a cost. God forbid you enter your email address into any one of these offers. If you do you will see a dramatic increase in your Spam folder. Really who has the time to sit down and unsubscribe to every email in their folder. Most people just let it go and empty the folder from time to time. Some just get a new email address.

When surfing set your volume control on you task bar and hit mute until you find something you actually want to listen to. Otherwise you to will have your eardrums blown out by this womans voice telling you about the fake offer for a free ipod.

Other things you can do to avoid this is to use Adblock which you can read about and download for Firefox by clicking here

Some will tell you not to do this because your favorite sites have the right to make money and doing this could inhibit that from happening. Here is my opinion, if you are trying to make money, then try not annoying your visitors.

Life is about choices and everything is a choice. The only thing I have to do in this life is die, the rest is optional.

Time?

Time is a concept. It does not exist. Yes that is what I said, time does not exist. The reason we have such a terrible time understanding the universe is because the universe does not care what we think and nothing is constant. The basis of mathematics revolves around assumptions and theory that really can not even be proved. If we actually could build something that traveled faster than light then we could say this will work and that won't. The true problem lies in trying to apply concepts and thinking to something we just don't have the capability to understand. When that time comes you will see not one but several people make the discovery around the same time. I am reminded of an episode of the Outer Limits, no not that one. In this episode a kid builds a cold fusion bomb. Wait cold fusion is not possible. The kid says the secret to building it is to get the wrong answer to the right question. During this episode the kid points throughout human history that as a major discovery is made there are several people that make the discovery thus the theory says when the universe thinks we can handle it it reveals a little more of itself to us. Think of it as school only instead of completing grade levels we complete levels of understanding. Now for this theory to hold true then there might be a consciousness that is guiding our progression in some form or fashion. Some may call this God, some Buddha, some Mother Nature, what ever name you choose to give it does not matter because It will not reveal itself until it feels we have evolved enough to comprehend its existence. I know it sounds far fetched and crazy. But it makes sense too. If time is only a concept that allows our brain to process the perceived reality around us then what other things that are held to be true are nothing more than illusion.

We used to think the world is flat. We used to think that nuclear fission was not possible. There was a time when fire was a mystery. We used to create elaborate stories and characters to explain the world around us. We have gotten better but we are not there yet. Our thinking is not abstract enough. You know the term "think outside the box" well try realizing the box does not exist. The idea of a box automatically creates limitations and structure. But who is to say those limitations actually exist. If time is a concept then moving through time is an act of thought. The present is a state of mind. The past is previous state of mind. The future is an unrealized state of mind. We keep looking for answers in our own ideas of how things work and it is a rare occurrence that some one steps outside these ideas to truly discover a piece to this immense yet simple puzzle. Yes I just referred to the universe as simple. We often find that once we make these discoveries that it makes sense and we wonder why no one thought of it before. Really our idea of existence is nothing more than that an idea. Granted some ideas are better than others and have plausibility.

So if time is a concept that exists in our minds then the ability to move through time would only be possible if we reach the point where we move through time using thought. Crazy! Think about it this way, how much do we really know about the mind and how it works? Not much. I guess you could say that to understand ourselves will lead to understanding the universe. Unlocking the mysteries of the mind may unlock the mysteries of the universe. There are many theories of what is possible if we could use 100% of our brain. There are theories that we could use telekinesis, telepathy, astral projection and others. I theorize that if we were to unlock the human brain we would also have the ability to move any point in the universe through thought or by willing it. Granted I may be a moron who has no clue what he is talking about but how are you going to prove me wrong. Math is a concept that only holds true because we say it does. It is our structural guide that we have created to try an understand the world in which we live. We created it. We created the concept of time. Don't run off because of what I am about to say. In the bible it says that to God a day is as 10,000 years and 10,000 years is as day. The only feasible explanation to this is that time itself is a concept and not a constant. If time is a concept that any passage of time is also just another theoretical move and moving through time takes only the power of the mind. Really the only example i have seen of this is in a movie called "Somewhere in Time" starring Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour. In the movie Reeves takes himself back in time using the power of is mind. He alters his reality to place himself at a specific point in time using only his mind.

Sure it is fun to think about time machines and the possibilities that it would create but really aren't we just over complicating it.

More Questions

So my last blog really only scratched the surface of an issue that boggles my mind. Should a profit be made off culture. Culture being art, music, theater or anything else that could be put in that category. Because truly when we buy a copy of something we are not getting the message the way it was intended to be delivered. We were given a copy. Every time you copy something it starts to fade, to become less of the whole, a true absence of soul. Poetic and corny I will admit, but seriously. When you digitally record music you are not actually recording it. You are sampling tiny pieces of it never capturing the entirety of the sound. We should long to be effected by our culture and the best way to do that is to get the whole performance live the way it was intended. If we are only getting pieces of the work then it can't be illegal to copy with out selling and give to some one else because the copyright is for the entire sound not pieces of it. Do you think I am stretching? Possibly.

But on a more serious note when we turn our culture into commerce we lose site of the very thing that made it special way back when. It was a beautiful sound that all could share and all were meant to hear and share it with others for the progression of culture to ensure its evolution. With out the ability to share our culture freely we are destined to become a culture made in a test tube created by men and women that have decided for us what our culture will be. We lose our heart and souls we give up our right to be a part of the evolution of the world around us. We hand over our free will and our desire to create. To share culture is to create culture and a culture that is created not by choice but by influence and elimination of choice leads only to one place and it is not somewhere I even want to think about being. We have the right to pursue happiness but not the right to charge admission to others to pursue theirs.

Nor do we have the right to keep cultural sharing from others.

We do not have the right to stop culture from evolving in its own way.

We have the right to be a part of the culture we live in.

We have the right, no, we have the responsibility to take part and create with in it carrying forward.

We have the choice

Share and grow

Lock it up and kill it.

You decide.

Sharing Culture

I have been reading up on the subject lately and have formed some opinions of my own. First let us take trip back in the way back machine Dr. Peabody (anybody that gets that reference deserves a cookie). Let's take a look at how performers and musicians made a living prior to the ability to record a performance. Back then a musician made his/her money off performances. If they were good they would have a string of performances across varied locations. Often such performers would be given room and board and a small payment. They were taken care of for providing a cultural experience. Performers were taken care of based on their abilities as a performer and every performance mattered, unless they were in some back woods small dink town then they would receive what the town could afford to give. It may not have been much but the performer was provided for and people got to have their share of the latest cultural trend. If a song or style of song was popular others would make an effort to provide similar performances in order to provide a link to the newest evolution of culture. It was important to share these cultural changes and performers appreciated what ever they got. They did not have to do any real work. They played their music and they created more and the people took care of them providing food and shelter. Everyone was happy.

Let's jump a head. The ability to record sound comes along. The musicians were creative types that did not care about technology, only about the ability to perform and they saw a way to have those performances shared amongst the masses with out having to constantly travel. However people still wanted the live performance because no matter how well the recorded version was made it would never match up against the live performance. Now people would pay money to see performers and those who had the technology got paid for providing copies of a performance. The performers did not see much of the revenue generated by the selling of copies of a singular performance. We have a copy of a cultural piece that is being sold to the masses. For those that could not afford to buy a recorded copy of a singular performance could hear that recording via radio for free. Culture continues to be shared. It has not been until recent years that performers started to see a real cut of the profits for the selling of a copy of a singular performance. The recording industry has always been the ones to profit. Those with no artistic talent make millions upon millions of dollars off the copies and the musicians make millions upon millions off taking their live performance across the world.

Now if I understand this correctly it is illegal to make a copy of a recorded performance and share it with a friend. Remember bootleg tapes (probably the first time you heard Metallica before they got famous was off a bootleg tape). People would here some thing and make a copy of it to share with a friend. The friend got interested and thus became more likely to go to a live performance thus increasing the revenue for the artist. But what about the money for Copying company (record company copy company...same difference) you ask. They have lost a sale. But are they really entitled to it. Now I am not talking about law. Law has nothing to do with this discussion. This is about the sharing of culture and the desire of a people to share to culture. When we like something we want to share it. We want others to like what we have discovered and we want to share it with them. Question, is culture owned by the creator or by the masses that have placed personal value upon it?

Next question if those who value a cultural piece wish to share that piece to increase the cultural awareness of said piece and do it for free has the performer been wronged?

If I pay you to allow me to copy a singular performance so that I may sell it to others thus making a profit off the sharing of culture should I be entitled to a large profit?

Should we pay for culture or should culture be shared freely as long as the performers have food and lodging provided by those that appreciate the performers contribution to an ever changing and evolving culture.

Is it wrong to share culture freely or should a profit be made off of it by those who have nothing to do with actually creating it?

I truly believe that no one deserves to make a profit for the copying of a singular performance and distribution. They are in my opinion entitled to recoup costs and a small profit to be reinvested into their copying technology. Once costs are recovered copies are free. After all they have done nothing to enhance the performance or make it as good as being their for a live performance so why should the be entitled to a large profit for providing an inferior copy of what we gladly pay to see performed live.

I look at some of the things going on in the world as it applies to the sharing of culture and I invite you to find a copy of Steal this Movie and Steal this Movie II, (both are completely free to download legally) and think about what your stance will be on the sharing of culture. As for me, I am all for sharing culture freely as long as the artist has a roof over their head and food to eat, they have nothing to complain about because frankly no one is entitled to be rich, they just want to be rich. Oh one more thing FUCK LARS ULRICH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cry me a river then get Tom Cruise

See the following link before reading.

http://www.mpaa.org/researchStatistics.asp

That's right in the midst of piss moaning and whining about p2p killing the movie industry these fuckers are still making money hand over fist. Piracy is not hurting anyone. If anything it is helping movies and TV shows reach viewers that it never would have reached to begin with. The MPAA and RIAA and any others groups that are trying to sue people for getting there fair share of different cultural experiences are nothing but douche bags and need to quit their crying and shut the fuck up and go back to their homo erotic relationship with Tom Cruise. Any one that truly believes that any one is having a homo erotic affair with Tom Cruise must have proof and really needs to get that shit on You Tube now. So I guess you could say that your mission should you choose to except it is to catch Tom Cruise having sex with a man and get it on you tube. Should be caught this blogger will disavow any knowledge of your existence. This blogg will self destruct in 10 seconds.

The Whore I Am

I was reminded yesterday by my girlfriend that I am indeed The Movie Whore. I was on a website with free streaming movies. I decided to watch Doom. You know the 2005 bomb staring none other than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. I have indeed seen the movie before and I do acknowledge it to be a steaming pile of shit, however it's an entertaining steaming pile of shit. At least I think so. I am not saying I would own it but on a Saturday afternoon it's a nice diversion. My girlfriend seemed to be in pain as I told her what movie I had found and was planning to watch. She pointed out the groups of people it pissed off from the fans of the game to fans of Dwayne Johnson. She also made statements that it was the worst movie of the year that year, I got curious and know how to use Google. Yes I searched out the worst movie of 2005. I got several results but the one that stood out was "Alone in the Dark" (Really shitty game movie starring Christian Slater) as the worst movie of 2005. I could not disagree as I mistakenly watched this movie a second time because it was so bad I had blocked it out of my mind that I had originally seen it. Yes it is that bad. Then again I am the Movie Whore and should retain such knowledge. I watched Doom anyway. She gave me that "you really are just you" look and my day continued into the evening and I went to sleep.

Here is where I remind you that my girlfriend is the self proclaimed Queen of the Geeks. Not 2 hours prior to me writing this, the love of my life made a wonderful statement as we were discussing how to spend a $50 gift card she got. I recommended buying a copy of "Across the Universe" which was just released to video within the last couple of weeks. A great movie for any Beatles fan or for anyone alive during the Vietnam war that remembers the cultural things (Timothy Leary, anti-war protests, etc.) going on. I swear as God as my witness this wonderful, beautiful, intelligent, woman of my dreams said "We need to buy a copy of Ice Pirates." If you don't know the movie here is the imdb link.
The Ice Pirates

This really is a movie that I love. It really is a horrible movie but is fun and entertaining. Keep in mind this is the same woman that gave me shit for watching, not buying or suggesting a purchase of the movie "Doom" just sitting down and letting it stream to my computer. For some reason this strikes me as funny and I really don't know if anyone can really appreciate the laugh I get out of this but I am smiling as I am typing. What is the point of all this?

Well here is a list of bad movies that really are entertaining. When I say bad movie I am referring to the B-movie. Movies that were made to be bad but entertaining.

  • Bubba Hotep, starring none other than the king of the B-movies Bruce Campbell. Other works of Mr. Campbell that bare mentioning here are Evil Dead, the whole trilogy and generally speaking any movie he appears in. I can't wait to see "My Name is Bruce" where he plays himself. A small town is being attacked by monsters or something and they all see Bruce as Ash (His Evil Dead persona) and come to him for help. Should be horribly hilarious.

  • Rocky Horror Picture Show is arguably the greatest cult classic of all time and has secured a space for Tim Curry in history that will never be removed. Love this movie. This is a horrible movie by any standards, but is quite possibly one of the most entertaining movies ever, especially if you can find a theater that will play it on the big screen. Do your own research to find out what I am talking about. Google is a click away.

  • Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure/Bogus Journey. Horrible movies about time travel and the afterlife but again quite entertaining and the best acting Keanu Reeves has ever done. By the way what ever happened to Alex Winter? Apparently he can be seen in a series that was on USA called "Saul of the Mole Men" , own it.
  • Men at Work. Charlie and Emilio made this crappy movie and it was actually pretty damn funny. Garbage men find a dead body and uncover a conspiracy to dump toxic waste off the coast of southern California. Great one liners. Own it.

  • Starship Troopers, the original. Bad movie, bad acting, bad dialogue, bad bad bugs. If you ever just want to sit back and watch death and destruction then this is a fun movie. Giant bugs, the big man on campus becoming a soldier and a leader, and to top it all off NPH. That's right boys and girls former star of Doogie Howser MD, Neil Patrick Harris. No NPH wouldn't do that. Well he did and I own it.

  • Godzilla 2000 makes up for that serious piece of shit with Matthew Broderick that pissed off every Godzilla fan on the Planet. Here is Japans wonderful answer to that waste of film. Yes it is the guy in the rubber suit but that is part of what made Godzilla great when I was I kid watching bad movie after movie after Saturday morning cartoons were done. Own it.

  • Big Trouble in Little China is one I proudly own. Kurt Russell is a whore. He is probably also quietly one of the greatest actors of our time but rarely does a movie to showcase his actual talent. Instead he often takes on projects that let him have fun. The Thing, Overboard, Escape From New York/LA, Tango and Cash to name a few. Big Trouble in Little China is a gain a horrible movie but you can't help but to get sucked in and by the time it's over you realize no matter how bad a movie is it can still be entertaining. Own it.

  • Serial Mom is one I throw in because it is just plain funny. Kathleen Turner plays the most a woman that most of would want to slap if we met her. Beverly Suthpin is the all American housewife. Makes pies, recycles, is part of the PTA, does not allow you to chew gum in her house, goes bird watching and on the side is killing people all over town. Worth the watch, one I own.

  • The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai Across the 8th Dimension is the grand daddy of them all. Peter Weller, Jeff Goldblum, John Lithgow, Clancy Brown and Ellen Barkin. Buckaroo has a Japanese father and white American mommy and he is a physicist, a neural surgeon, has a rock band and just happens to be the guy the president calls when shit goes down. This movie is the epitome of a B-Movie complete with bad acting , bad dialogue, bad special effects, bad music and a lot of fun. Of course this is my most prized possession.

Feel free to share some of your B-Movie favorites. You may have one that I, The Movie Whore has not seen. Thanks for playing C-ya on the flip side.

Who is The Dudes Dad?

Well that would be me, Jim Carter. The Dude is not the character from Big Lebowski, he is my 3yr old son. I had not even seen Lebowski and I started calling him the Dude. So go ahead and take your shots but remember I may fire back.

Just a guy is a place for me to just ramble and rant. Somewhere I can can talk about whatever is on my mind, which could be anything from quantum theory to Kevin Smith and all points in between. I may go off on a movie or a song or some twit I came across out in the really real world. Sarcasm is appreciated here, in fact it is a must just to keep up.

I generally blogg 3-4 days a week and you can expect anywhere from 1-2 page average length. I have a horrible time controlling my language and take shit for it all the time. Remember this is where I also rant. Frankly swearing can sometimes be the only way to get the point across. Well since I doubt anyone will really read this the first person to tell me the atomic weight of the universe wins a cookie.

Cookies will be issued from my imagination and no real cookies will be given out. Stupid yes but never underestimate the stupid asshole that would actually sue.
